You do not need a MIC/DTA to reach Chile. You do need Servicio Nacional de Aduanas and, for the plate, a homologation path your agent believes the 3CV will accept. We supply the China pack that the technical file is built from. We do not stamp a Chilean certificate we are not allowed to issue.
ZOFRI can be the right regime for a dealer who is not nationalizing into the rest of Chile. It is the wrong regime if the car is meant for a Santiago plate. Say which one when you ask for the quote. The duty outcome follows that choice; we will not blur it to show a lower number.
Electric and plug-in crossovers, and specific China-built nameplates when the factory will allocate them. We quote USD wholesale, EXW or the Incoterm on the PI, for importers who already have a workshop in Santiago, Concepción or the north.
